About Us

Know more about us

The market value for agricultural production in Ghana has increased by more than 20% year-on-year from 2013 to 2023. This impressive growth can be attributed to rapid population growth and rising incomes. Today, the overall value of agricultural production in Ghana has grown to an astronomical value of more than GH₵ 175 billion ($11.16 billion).

Recognizing this huge and still expanding market, our CEO, Dawuda Dakui Jankome founded Dakui Farms and Trading Enterprise in 2017 mainly to raise chickens. Today, the company is now Dakui Farms and Trading Ltd, and is a diversified operation based in Tumu, Sissala East, in the Upper West Region of Ghana. The company as of the time of writing, specializes in the cultivation of maize and soybeans, poultry farming, and the supply of essential agricultural inputs.

With a focus on sustainable practices and world-class customer care, our company aims to meet the growing demand for local food production and agricultural inputs while contributing to the agricultural sector’s development in Ghana.

  1. Increase productivity: We have close to 200 acres of land and 50 acres cultivated for maize and soybean, respectively. We plan to increase crop production mainly by increasing metric tons per hectare from 3 to 5 for maize, and from 1.8 to 3.0 for soybean.
  2. Increasing area cropped: To supplement our 250 acres of cropland cultivated, we also have an out-grower scheme going on. We will keep expanding our out-grower outreach to increase crop production.
  3. Enhance poultry production: We will continue to apply modern technology and best practices to ensure high poultry productivity, especially when it comes to egg production.
  4. Improve agricultural input sales: We will enhance our marketing efforts utilizing tools ranging from door-to-door outreach to social media marketing to enhance sales of our products, especially agricultural inputs.
